Several bridges on the motorways from Antwerp to Eindhoven and Hasselt, built in the sixties, suffer from alkaline reactions. This has resulted in fast deterioration thus requiring urgent replacement. The highly increased road traffic required a working method, which limited disturbance to road traffic on the motorway to an absolute minimum.
