Once a year all
IABSE Committees meet during 2-3 days before the major IABSE Symposium, which usually takes place in September. Some 120-170 delegates attend the technical and non-technical committee meetings and receptions.
In conjunction with the Annual Meetings and the Symposium, the IABSE Awards are presented at the Opening Ceremony of the Symposium. The BASAAR (Briefings About Structural Applications And Research) is organised during the Symposium in order to open the technical part of the Working Commissions to all conference participants.
